Friday March 28th 2008 marked the launch of "The story of Angus in
Australia" by author Nigel Austen at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney.
The book was officially launched by Governor-General Major
General Michael Jeffery. The book covers the angus breed in
Australia from its humble origins to the unprecedented success
story that the Angus breed is today, bringing better beef to the
consumers of the world. The successful launch ceremony
also saw a special limited edition of The Story of Angus in
Australia book auctioned which was signed by HRH The Prince of
Wales with proceeds of the sale going to the Angus Youth in
Australia. Copies are
available for sale at GT Angus.

GT Angus has again been recognised for excellence at the recent Suncorp
/ Certified Australian Angus Beef Awards held during the Royal
Easter Show Sydney. GT Angus picked up the
Certified Australian Angus Beef "Restaurant of the Year" Award.
It is very special that GT Angus has won this award in this
